Downtime after an endoscopic brow lift is short compared to the open techniques. To prevent prolonged hematomas and bruising, it is important to stop blood thinners, including certain vitamin supplements, before the operation. Patients should expect bruising and swelling to last for one to two weeks. Computer work may begin 48 hours after the procedure but know that your eyes will feel tired the first week.
Strenuous physical activity such as exercise, weightlifting, and sexual intercourse must be avoided for a minimum of 10 days to prevent postoperative complications. These activities may resume slowly in the following week.
