A mini facelift is an outpatient surgical procedure involving judicious tightening of the cheek tissues through skin incisions carefully placed in front of the ears. The fibrofatty muscle plane is pulled upward toward the ear with sutures, gently elevating the cheek region to a more natural and youthful position. It is usually performed in younger individuals with mild facial aging who desire a subtle improvement of midfacial contour.
