Will I bruise and swell after filler applications?

Bruising and swelling are very common after filler injections. In fact, these are not complications! Mild bruising and/or swelling should be expected after an application. This is the main reason to avoid fillers right before an important engagement, such as a photo shoot or a wedding. Ice packs help to curb the swelling and are recommended right after the inyection, before leaving the doctor’s office.
