Eyelid ptosis is a medical condition that causes one or both upper eyelids to droop. It must be distinguished from lid laxity (dermatochalasis) and brow descent. Ptosis may be congenital or acquired, the latter being more common. Lifting a droopy eyelid usually requires surgery. The operation is done under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure.
In this webinar, you will learn the difference between ptosis and other causes of “droopy eyelids”. Our eyelid specialist reviews the different aspects of ptosis repair, what this surgery entails, and everything you need to know about the recovery.
